Help in any way is appreciated!
We know that many of our users of GMPC are running on the mostly used platform in the world: Windows, that's why we couldn't resist writing a small article about installing GMPC and MPD on a Windows system. It's fairly easy, so don't hesitate to try it out yourself!
As more and more people are using Apple's Mac OsX we couldn't stay away of introducing GMPC into OsX, but it's not always easy for someone to install the music player as fast and use it as efficient as possible, so we've written a tutorial which gives you the few steps necessary to have GMPC installed on your system!
Note that there are two versions available for Mac OsX, the native client, which is recommended and a fink package.
Are you a beginner with GMPC/MPD or are you having trouble installing the software on your Ubuntu based system? Then you came to the right place, we've got it all sorted out for you, just follow the steps and you'll most likely get yourself a featureful media player which is using almost no resources!
If you still can't get a hold on installing GMPC or MPD on your Ubuntu based system, don't panic, we're always waiting for you in our IRC channel where we can give you live support. You can find us in #gmpc on the FreeNode irc server (irc.freenode.org).
Well, for the fanatics we've also got you the source code and to help you lads out a little bit, we've also got you an installation guide written for the source guide.
